Nate Panza, currently enrolled as a finance and accounting student at Baylor University, is not only dedicated to his academic pursuits but also harbors aspirations as an entrepreneur and has a deep passion for the ocean. Nate Panza is a dynamic individual, balancing both student life and early professional endeavors. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Finance and Accounting, Nate has not only upheld a flawless GPA but has also earned a place on the Dean’s List. Additionally, he has been recognized as the Interfraternity Council New Member of the Year, indicating his commitment and dedication to his academic and extracurricular pursuits. Nate approaches his education with a high level of seriousness and diligence.
Beyond his class commitments, Nate Panza invests much of his time in practical work, actively seeking various apprenticeship opportunities to enhance his educational journey. Nate was fortunate to be selected from a pool of over 10,000 applicants for the Goldman Sachs 2023 Insight Series apprenticeship. This summer program allowed him to maximize his learning potential without compromising time in the classroom. Before this experience, Nate interned at Yorkville Advisors, contributing to assessing diverse capital structures and financial statements for portfolio companies.
November 2022 saw Nate Panza and fellow ATO members making waves in the headlines as they rallied to support breast cancer. The collaborative efforts of Alpha Tau Omega resulted in an impressive fundraising achievement of over nineteen thousand dollars for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Their unique approach involved solidarity in action – opting to shave their heads as a symbolic gesture, a campaign aptly named “Cuts 4 Cancer.” This initiative garnered attention and proved a powerful means of generating funds for a noble cause.
Nate Panza takes pleasure in devoting his leisure time to community engagement, and his love for surfing fuels his connection with the local youth organizations. Nate channels his passion for the oceans into teaching surfing lessons to the younger generation, finding fulfillment in witnessing their success—whether honing their water skills or pursuing entrepreneurial ambitions. Beyond surfing instruction, Nate actively participates in community initiatives such as beach cleanups and youth enrichment programs.
One of Nate Panza‘s volunteer commitments seamlessly merges his enthusiasm for leadership and entrepreneurship with his commitment to community service. In 2020, Nate became a part of The Soul Focused Group, an organization dedicated to combating systemic racism by training upcoming leaders in understanding and implementing prevention methods.
